About Us
Finchum Offroad Racing is a dynamic racing team and proud owners of the sixth and twenty-seventh TROPHYLITE trucks ever made. Our knowledgeable support crew comprised of friends and family combined with professional race prep lends years of racing experience and mechanical support to our team. We are excited to be part the TrophyLite circuit and racing trucks 6084 AND 6048 to the finish line!
The drivers of Finchum Off-Road Racing are made up of the owner/driver husband and wife team of Bruce and Fawn Finchum driving truck 6084 and Ryan Finchum driving truck 6048.
Bruce has many years of off-road experience four-wheeling and has driven in SCORE races, such as the Baja 500 and Baja 1000 in Rich Severson’s 7sx Ford Ranger. Helping Severson’s team take the 2007 Season Championship was great experience before jumping behind the wheel of his very own truck. 2010 season races have Bruce tallying up a win at the SCORE San Felipe 250 in Mexico and a strong second-place finish at the General Tire Mint 400 in Las Vegas as driver of record in truck 6084. Bruce’s talent and ability will keep driving the F.O.R. Racing team ahead of the competition.
Ryan has been following his father around the desert since he was a kid. While his four-wheeling experiences in the desert are plentiful, he had never stepped foot in a race truck until the inaugural season of the TrophyLite circuit in 2008. He has proven to be a strong finisher, completing all races he entered in 2008, including a third-place finish in the General Tire Mint 400. The opportunity to solo drive several races in 2009 allowed him to gain valuable experience, as well as another third place finish at the S.N.O.R.E. Laughlin Rage at the River in December. As driver of record in truck 6048, Ryan has established that he is a strong contender within the TrophyLite Series.
Fawn has gained race experience from racing her TOMCAR and the TrophyLite in races in Arizona, incuding the Parker 425 this past February. Splitting drive time with husband Bruce, and as driver of record in the 2010 SCORE San Felipe 250, Fawn drove truck 6084 (#722 in the SCORE series races) to the finish line for F.O.R. Racing's first-ever first place finish! She has also driven the Trophylite in three PowderPuff races, including the extremely popular M.O.R.E PowderPuff Race for a Cure in Barstow, CA twice. Her consistency has proven that she is always a finisher and she has top three finishes for all her 2009 races and a second-place finish with Bruce at the 2010 General Tire Mint 400.
